On August 21, 2023, Alan D. Halperin was appointed Trustee of the Madison Boys & Girls Club Compensation Trust. The chapter 11 cases were filed on June 29, 2022 in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

On May 2, 2023, Alan D, Halperin was appointed the Trustee of the Revlon General Unsecured Creditor Trust. The Revlon chapter 11 cases filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York in December 2022 and the Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization was confirmed on April 3, 2023.

Alan D. Halperin, the Plan Administrator in the Century 21 bankruptcy cases secured a major victory in how rejection damages are calculated. Contrary to standing precedent, the Bankruptcy Court adopted the “rent” based calculation urged by the Plan Administrator thereby reducing the total claims against the estate.
