The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York appointed Alan D. Halperin as an examiner in the National Events Holding, LLC chapter 11 case to investigate whether the bankruptcy trustee should pursue a possible claim against a major creditor in the case in connection with a $70 million fraud which ultimately led to the debtor’s downfall.  Following a thorough investigation, Mr. Halperin concluded that the evidence did not indicate creditor involvement.  The results of Alan’s investigation … Continued
