Halperin Battaglia Raicht, LLP has substantial experience representing various types of clients, whether in chapter 11 cases or out-of-court restructurings. We represent clients on matters such as plan negotiations, asset sales, lien analysis, preference actions, fraudulent conveyance litigation, stay relief, collateral valuation, reclamation claims, claims objections and other litigation. Our depth and range of experience enables us to effectively handle the most sophisticated matters as well as the regular nuts and bolts matters of an insolvency practice, to advise clients about all of the strategies available to them, and to help each client chose an approach that best suits the client’s particular circumstances and goals. As a boutique firm, we are comparable to the bankruptcy and insolvency departments of many national firms, but are able to provide representation in a cost effective and client-centered manner that much larger firms can seldom achieve.

In this vain, while we believe that a non-litigation resolution can often be crafted that resolves issues in a favorable manner, when resolution on favorable terms is not possible, we are ready and able to represent clients in all facets of litigation, from the filing of a complaint or answer through trial. We have substantial experience in bringing lawsuits in our representation of litigation trustees, debtors and creditors' committees, and defending actions on behalf of individual creditors (whether secured or unsecured), and officers and directors, always in a manner that provides the client a cost-efficient and highly effective representation that zealously protects the rights of our clients.
